Store Policies

Workshop booking policies
Please note that if you are unable to attend a course we are very happy for you to send someone else in your place, or swap your booking for another date, but we cannot offer refunds. Please arrive on time for the workshop; if you are more than half an hour late, while we will do our best to accommodate you, we reserve the right to cancel your booking.

​Delivery
All products ship within 10 days of order. If your order is time-sensitive or you’d like to fast-track it, please get in touch at [email protected].

Packaging

All products are shipped in environmentally-friendly packaging without plastic and with a cotton shoe bag from a Fairtrade accredited supplier  - perfect for reusing!

UK delivery
We offer free tracked Royal Mail delivery in the UK. You’ll receive a shipping confirmation with your tracking number when your product is in the post.

Local pickup
If you’d like to pick up your order from our Bethnal Green studio, just let us know at checkout and we'll arrange it.

International Delivery

We offer tracked international shipping to many locations at an additional cost. Orders may take up to 14 days (or longer) to arrive, depending on the destination. If there’s a location you’d like us to ship to that we don’t currently offer, just get in touch and we can let you know the cost! 

Taxes and Duties
Outside of the EU, the customer will be responsible for any taxes and custom duties. Juta Shoes is not responsible for delays caused by customs clearance.

Returns and exchanges
We hope you love your Juta Shoes as much as we do, but if you are not happy with your purchase, we’re here to help. You can return or exchange your purchase within 14 days of receipt of the item. Please make sure that you’ve checked our size guide before order to ensure you have the correct size, and get in touch with us if you have any questions about style or colour.

​Returns can only be accepted if the products are returned to us in unworn, saleable condition in original packaging. The buyer is responsible for paying return shipping, and it is recommended you return items to us using a recorded delivery service, as we cannot accept responsibility for any items lost in transit. Refunds will be processed within 7 days of receiving the returned item. For exchanges, Juta Shoes will offer one replacement pair on made-to-order shoes. Unfortunately there can be no subsequent exchanges of the same item.

International returns
Please be aware, if returning an item from outside of the EU, you will need to include a detailed commercial invoice clearly stipulating that the goods are 'returning to the country of origin' and therefore not subject to import taxes and duties. It must also be stated clearly on the waybill that it is 'returning to the country of origin'. We cannot be held liable for any charges incurred due to incorrect shipping and any costs incurred by Juta Shoes will be deducted from the amount refunded should the returns procedure not be followed correctly or the item refused. If you have any questions,

Items on sale or with a discount cannot be returned or exchanged.
